The RoadSave app uses smart drive-detection technology to automatically monitor your trips, which may result in a slight increase in battery use. It automatically activates the required device sensors (eg GPS) when driving, which is required in order for Crash Alert to work. When you stop driving, RoadSave automatically de-activates trip monitoring and device sensors (eg GPS) in order to conserve battery use.

Please note that the RoadSave drive-detection algorithm has been designed to ensure minimal battery use. If you however prefer to disable Trip Monitoring to further conserve battery use, this can be done from the Preferences menu in the RoadSave app.
