If you’re unconscious after a crash, responding paramedics uses the ICE Tag to access your medical information, which could save your life.

ICE Tag Scan (QR code)
The individual performing the ICE tag scan (QR code scan) has to provide his/her number and give legal consent that the number provided may be tracked/traced. The number used during the scan is also verified by means of OTP. Once the scan is complete, the number that performed the scan is sent to the owner of the ICE tag. Please note that the following details are accessible when an ICE tag is scanned:
- Photo
- Name & Surname
- Date of Birth
- Age
- Medical Aid & Medical Aid number (if available)
- Gender
- Blood type
- Allergies
- Medical Conditions
- Height
- Weight
- Emergency Contacts & their contact numbers
* The contact details of the ICE tag owner is not shared, but rather the medical details & emergency contacts.
If you have any privacy concerns, we recommend that you rather place the ICE tag in the cubby hole and/or sun visor of your vehicle.
